Description of posturographic parameters of women undergoing breast cancer treatment

Abstract

Introduction: Breast cancer is one of the most frequent cancers in Brazil, and its treatment can lead to postural changes. Objective: To identify balance changes in women undergoing breast cancer treatment. Methods: Descriptive study using posturography to assess the center of pressure trajectory in women treated for breast cancer. Results: Postural changes with impact on balance were observed, especially associated with surgical treatment. Conclusion: Breast cancer treatment can impair postural balance, highlighting the importance of investigating these changes to guide therapy and further research.
